I finally held still enough to read Dead and Gone. I liked it. I have to admit I still have a soft place for Bill and hopes he pops in the next book Harris writes. Also I am guilty..... I did order HBO so I could watch True Blood and even though season 1 was not exactly the same as the books, I still liked it and season 2 so far has left me one the edge of my chair... or should I say on the edge of my couch!!!

that is a good series...the HBO tv series? not so good....
Have you read the Aurora Teagarden series by her yet? Totally rocks :-)
The series is pretty good. I am sooooo an Eric fan. He is too funny and helps Sookie WAY better than Bill ever did.
The hbo series has the characters but goes pretty far off topic. Season two should've had Eric in the pink spandex like the book,,,,would've loved to have laughed my booty off to that!!!
If you like vamp books, try the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton (a LOT of sex, and pretty freaky in a few books...I skipped past a few pages pretty quickly)
And the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward. And there is always lynsay sands and the argeneu family for a laugh.
