Mountains and Wee Beds....

We managed to sneak away for a few days. The mountains were calling and so we answered. We love camping, and if it wasn't for our real life jobs, we would stay up in the hills permanently!
 The camper.
Some scenery.

WEE BEDS...
My mother has a huge doll house. It is so big ....I know, I built it for her! Dollhouse Blog Post She has these beautiful brass beds for the doll house and I volunteered to make her some bedding. Making tiny handmade quilts is a challenge but I am loving it. I have two done. Pillows and sheets too. I am starting on two more sets tonight. I left my hand in the pics so you can see the size.

Dogs That Say Cheese!

We were camping for the last five days. The dogs loved it. Especially Conner, our big Golden Retriever. He loved it so much he posed for a picture. Say cheese!!!!
Too funny!!!
And now here's something I think you'll really like... mountain pics!!! We stayed in Christmas Meadows in the Uinta Mountains. It was breathtaking. It was beautiful. And at times the silence was so loud it was emotional. We fished in a loud river and in a quiet lake. We doggy paddled across a wide silver ribbon. We wadded through earth with Corn Lilly's clinging to our knees. And we slept to the tune of a whispering mountain. I feel renewed.
 My son photo bombing.

That's all folks!

1961...Such A Good Year!

My dear friend Melinda restored a 1961 Deville Camper...and guess who bought it??? Me!!! Check out her blog HERE to see all of the work and art she put into the camper. I LOVE it!!!! My aunt in Idaho gave me one of her dresses from the 1950's...it was perfect for my retro look/photos taken from inside "The Tumble Weed"!!

(My daughters shoes, not mine, I only own Converse and flip flops!)
I don't like having my picture taken but my daughter made me feel comfortable while taking them. I even like a few of them!!

Happy Trails!
