So today I had to run to the home improvement store. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I took my teenage son with me so he could carry the heavy fencing I was buying. After trotting through the entire store and two times through the garden center (had to take a peek, still looking for onion sets) we made it back into the car. And then I noticed it. I had only put makeup on one eye. My right eye was lined, highlighted with lashes curled and darkened....but my left little almond shaped eye was bare! It looked invisible. There you go, a laugh on me!

Oh dear, yes I did have a good laugh. I went out once with odd shoes on. Didn't find out until I looked down at my feet at the restaurant we met friends in. Does that help :)

Oh my yes that did make me laugh. Sometimes being human is so great.
you nana - that would never happen to me...... I don't wear mascara ! ( have lashes tinted )
That clockwork orange pic is sooooo creapy !
Oh, the things we do to embarrass our kids! :0)
Thanks for the laugh! I have to tell ya I would have smacked my kid for not telling me something was wrong.... But I know that teenage boys are oblivious! so I would have smacked him for being oblivious!!!
Thanks again for sharing, I needed that laugh.
Ha ha, Alex from Clockwork Orange is the first thing that sprang to my mind too!
I see from your profile that you are a pysanky writer. So is my Rare One. Read my post of Jan 28, 2010, you'll like it!
I'm sure all the kids at Home Depot were pointing you out to their mother and saying, "Mama, look at that girl. She only has one eye!" You scarred them for life!
Lost in thought somewhere??? Too funny!
<><
LMAO funny! Here is a funny one with makeup too. Back when concealors came in sticks, like lipstick....my sister would put hers on last OVER her foundation. One day, in a hurry, she forgot to blend them in. She worked ALL morning in a bank with these white dots all OVER her face. Talk about being angry with her co-workers!
