Yesterday afternoon to great big package came to my door! I waited until dinner when my little family was all together to open them. This first one is the Alice In Wonderland Apron Swap. My friend Melanie C. sent me a great package! My teenage daughter is claiming the apron, but I am sure she will share! I also received a fabulous headband, 2 note books and two great big coffee mugs (just in time for chai and pumpkin spiced coffee)!!!! Thank you so much Melanie!! (The mushroom card is all hand done!)
The next one is the Altered Edgar Allen Poe Box SWAP. Ramona A. out did herself!! I choose the Pit and The Pendulum as my theme. Pictures just don't do it justice!!! Beautiful altered Poe locket, witch girly, altered purse and the Pit and the Pendulum altered box. (It is so cool, creepy little mice climbing all over, chains and the pendulum and pit made all out of an oatmeal container!) Not to mention skull bracelet, crow and candy corns and pumpkins (my favorite)!!! Thank you so much!!! I am a lucky girl!

I WANTED TO WELCOME YOU TO THE BLISSFULL ATC SWAP. I HAVE ENJOYED READING YOUR BLOG. I TOO, HAVE A LOT OF ROCKS IN MY YARD...I THINK THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL...YOUR YARD IS BEAUTIFUL...I AM SOOO VERY SORRY YOUR PRECIOUS CAT GOT INTO ALL THOSE PAINFUL BURS...IT HURTS JUST TO STEP ON ONE SO I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HIS PAIN AND YOUR FINGER PAIN. WE HAVE 3 CATS...ALL RESCUE AND 2 WE FED AS BABIES. WE FOSTER NEWBORN KITTIES THAT HAVE BEEN DESERTED. WE HAVE 2 RESCUE DOGS. I WOULD RATHER ADOPT A RESCUE DOG THAN ANY OTHER.
I LOVE YOUR KOI POND. WE HAVE HAD ONE OUT OF A WHISKEY BARREL FOR 5 YEARS AND THEY HAVE SURVIVED OUR HARSH WINTERS BUT THEY ARE GETTING SO BIG THEY NEED A NEW HOME. WE KEEP A WIRE MESH OVER THE TOP SO THE FERAL CATS WE FEED WON'T DECIDE TO EAT OUR KOI....THAT WOULD BE BAD...MY HUSBAND TAKES METICULOUS CARE OF THOSE FISH.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE CHICKENS BUT I JUST COLLECT CERAMIC ROOSTERS AND CHICKENS.
