Antelope Island

Sunday my husband and I went hiking and rock climbing on Antelope Island. It is surrounded by the Great Salt Lake.
It happened to be Bison mating season so the big beasts were everywhere!

Little desert lizard.

That's me!

My hubby over looking the Great Salt Lake.

Beautiful rocks.

Antelope prints in the salty desert floor..

Amazingly beautiful place. Never would have thought there were buffalo out there. Great photos. Thanks for the advice about upping the chicken's protein level in their feed.

It sounds and looks like you live in the most amazing place. The pictures and activities you shouw are great. Besides I think bison are so cool. They're hearty and have triumphed over near extinction. That's pretty cool1

I lived in Utah for all my childhood, moved to CO when I was 18, and I never been to Antelope Island. Maybe when I go back to visit, I will have to do that!
