Sweaty Little Girl!!!

This past week I have been canning. I  made Rosemary Jelly, Triple Berry Jam, Pickled Jalapenos and Pomegranate Jelly. It has been  hot here and standing over a hot stove makes me feel as though I have been in a sauna all week.
Best part of the week was by far last night. And where was this sweaty little girl? A concert. We saw Dead Kenny G's, Gogol Bordello and Primus. We were smashed on the front row and danced for 4 hours straight. It was fun up until a big mosh pit started and little me was pinned up against the grate that separates us from the stage. A nice big security guard effortlessly lifted me up so I could escape the craziness of 20 to 30 year old men bouncing and slamming against each other in a frenzy of music. I waved goodbye to my hubby, bought a drink and sat and watched the concert from the balcony. What a great concert and a nice sweaty night! I love loud and live music!

It pays to be small and thin, Missy! Your canning adventure sounds delicious as well. Will be making jelly this week or next. I love this time of year!

Canning and moshing all in the same week? You're my kinda gal!

What do you use the rosemary jelly for? I'm intrigued. I need to get canning, too. I have the itch, just not the time right now. Soon, though.

The canning sounds great and the concert too minus the mosh pit! Sounds like you had a good week.

Glad you were rescued and continued to enjoy the concert. I for the first time made strawberry jam this year (yum), next year I hope to "venture" out a bit more and can some new ones!

Hi Missy,
i just got your beautiful rosette that you made and I absolutely love it!! You are so talented! I love that you used some of your grandmother's vintage buttons, it makes it all the more special to me.
I love your blog as well, it's wonderful!
