FAIL

I do not compete. I do not like competition. That being said, I have a little story about me, failure, and competition.
This tale starts out like a typical day in my world. I walk about 2 miles to the gym, and then I run on the treadmill. I put my earphones in and run. Well yesterday, when my run was over, I decide to get onto a stationary bike and do a ten minute ride. It's the kind of bike that has a screen and you can race or play a game while riding. I usually play a nice little game of "Catch the Dragon", but yesterday I chose to race. I have no idea what came over me, but for the first time in my life (all 35 years of it ) I felt like winning someone at something. So there I am, riding my bike, my 10 other computer characters racing and buzzing by me. I feel like I am in the middle of a hot sweat and am afraid I may be permanently suctioned to the seat...but I keep on going. I am in the middle and everything is going fine. I'm not first and I'm not last. As I watch the scenery pass by I notice that I am in a park on an evening ride. Next thing I notice is that I am all alone and the track is way off to the right....I am riding towards an animated Cola machine!!!!!! FAIL!!!!!! Those designers that make up the game sure know how to throw a girl. Total fail, see why I don't compete?

(Today I drank a coke. It was fabulous and now I won't need another one for a couple of months.)

I might be able to get into the dragon game. But a race - even on a computer. I'd have given up and gotten a Coke right away. I'm just not a racer. Good for you for sticking it out - even though the game sent you packing!

LOL, the only thing I used to win at was Boggle, not so sure I can still do it!

Hey, at least you tried! Something good in that! Just walking 2 miles to the gym to use the treadmill- Totally Awesome!!! Then did you have to walk home again? Ooph!

Coral? What region are you in? All I can find is like shell fossils, have a couple of reed fossils that are pretty cool - somewhere out in the back porch. Thats where everything goes that the mold isn't going to ruin. I have a very small house.

I'm not competitive, either. I remember when I was young, and learned to play tennis. I wasn't doing it right, because my goal was for the person I was playing and me to keep the ball going as long as we could. When I played a friend from high school, and she kept hitting the ball hard, and away from where I could get it, I didn't like it. She told me that's how you're supposed to play.

We had a ping pong table, and played that way, too. We did keep score, but it was a function of who didn't keep the ball going back and forth.

I don't think a place where people go to be healthy should be allowed to advertise Coke products like that.

fail? uh...not so much, you walked to the gym, you worked out, THEN you road in the race. You would have won if you weren't so tired from all the previous exercise....

There are worse things in the world, you could always be the first one there but think of all things you would miss along the way, this type of stuff is all part of your great creative mind.

LOL! I SO would have had that happen to me -- and I would have gladly gone toward the bright light . . . I gave up all soda a year and a half ago and I have been having the most wicked craving for it this past week or so!

I can't drink Coke any more so I'm glad you enjoyed it! And I think like most of the others you didn't fail. You are a winner in my herbal book, Missy!

So not a Fail. I blame this all on the digital coke machine leaping into your path while you were minding your own business. I frequently have trees do the same thing to me. Everyone says they don't move, but I beg to differ. ;)

Oh my!!! I wouldn't call that failure. You were just so overworked from the previous walk and workout before that. :O) You'll get them next time.

Have a wonderful day!!!!

I'm terrible a video games so I avoid them. Like you I'm not into competition either. The Coke machine on your ride made me laugh! I love Coke too though I'm swearing it off again as it's not on a diet and the diet version is awful!
