Dirty little girl...

What can I say, I have been up to my knees and elbows in dirt!

Our Garden
I am outside most days for about 3-4 hours keeping us weed free and pest free!

Front Yard Cutting Garden

Today I made my first batch of jam...strawberry jam!

We picked up 2 new chickens to add to our flock. A Welsummer and a Maran, both ladies around 9 weeks old. I can't wait to see their eggs, they are supposed to be a dark chocolate brown.

I miss having chickens. I really like their clucking. There is nothing like fresh eggs!

Sounds like you have been a busy girl!

Fantastic start on the garden. Best I have seen so far. Due to lack of yard\garden space I have to live vicariously through other people and their blogs. Love the dragonfly picture as well. Admiring your blog from a distance, me.

How many chickens do you have now? I have 15 hens and 1 rooster.
Dragonflies are my favorites. Great capture!
