I just did my first Toy Drop!!! If you would like to find out about this World Wide Craft/Street Art Project click here!
Moving on to the sweaty teenage boys... My son is in track and throws the shot put. He did fairly well this season and it was fun watching him and his buddies interact with each other and all the girls that signed up to judge and keep score for the track team. (He is the short blond one!)
Ladies laying overtime refers to my chickens, although I wish it referred to me laying about the house doing nothing...one can only dream. Not one white egg in the bunch. I get between 8-10 eggs on a good day. Quiche anyone?
Last but not least my new front cutting flower bed is blooming. In the fall my son helped my dig out all the grass and put in a flower bed. It is coming along but I can't wait for everything to spread and fill in!

Good luck to your son in his sport...and he seems like a good kid.
What kid would help his mom take out grass? Fresh eggs...yummm!
Have a great rest of your week.

Do you use the white eggs for pysanky?
Debra I actually love using the brown eggs for pysanky, I just don't happen to have any hens at this time that lay white eggs... ;0)
You're a busy girl!
Well done on your first toy drop, this is something I want to do, perhaps next year!
And love your cutting garden, it will be so nice to be able to pick your own flowers, do you need to mulch there? In Australia we need loads of mulch due to our hot summers!
Cheers, Natalie (YOE friend).
How very cool! You are one busy Lady!
Good luck to your son!
I LOVE the toy drop idea. I've never heard of that before. I've done book drops before, and will definitely be doing a toy one soon. Thanks for turning me on to The Toy Society.
your son is a hoot mugging for the camera! The garden will be amazing and all that hard work will be rewarded! I love all the colored eggs....we got free eggs from a coworker for about 6 months b/c she had too many...they were all such lovely colors! The best part is that I had eggs all the time and they were FREEEEEEEE!
