Japanese Tea Ceremony

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a Japanese Tea Ceremony. It was beautiful! I had no idea the amount of time and the details that are involved. Our friend and group member Kaori, performed the tea ceremony. She is from Japan and has attended school for ten years to learn this wonderful art form. She told us that if she goes for ten more years she would be considered a master. The interpreted was patient with all of our questions and the host was wonderful. Even the flowers were to die for. I will cherish the memory and know I am lucky to have wonderful friends to share it with. In the group photo four members of the group had already left....so they were not in the picture.
