I have recently learned that the red dye is harmful to them they can not process it. I make my own and it is really easy. you can find a recipe online. basically sugar and water just figure out the ratio. then put the rest in the fridge. Also the hummers eat insects, I didn't know that til just recently.Staceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14219651342782649066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856517608365786469.post-85322065441359360432010-05-26T09:48:21.111-07:002010-05-26T09:48:21.111-07:00Oh shoot, I hope your tomatoes and peppers survive...Oh shoot, I hope your tomatoes and peppers survive the weather. Hard to imagine that it's still snowing your way and I hope it was a modest dusting? I bought myself a hummingbird feeder a while back but have been slow putting it up because someone told me they attract a lot of wasps and we had a big problem with them in the past. I would love to see a hummingbird though. Maybe I should chance it?DeniseinVAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08494518513936310345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856517608365786469.post-74262055219311153302010-05-26T07:16:20.626-07:002010-05-26T07:16:20.626-07:00Your poor garden!
